Hispanic Americans have contributed to many areas of American life through science, art, entertainment, literature, sports and many other ways.
TASK:Your task will be to select three famous Hispanics. You may choose from the following categories:
Leaders & Activists, Film & Television, Musician & Artists, Scientists & Writers, Athletes. Each person must be from a different category. You will then create a Glogster http://www.glogster.com/ to creatively show the information you have learned. You will present your information to the class by showing your creation and telling us about the famous Hispanics you researched. You will also provide the information you received for each person in a worksheet given to you in class.
PROCEDURE:Visit the following sites below to choose your 3 famous Hispanics. You will also use these sites to find information on them and complete your research.
EVALUATION: You will be evaluated based upon the attached rubric. The Information you research for each person will be 20 points for a total of 60 points and 40 points for your present
ation. The total project is worth 100 points, it is the largest assignment this 9 weeks.
