Next, you will work with your group to begin creating your restaurant and its menu.

Decide who will be waiter and who will be the customers.

Weather Project: Designing a forecast in Spanish
Objective: To describe in Spanish the weather for various Spanish speaking
cities.
Task:
1. View the attached maps of Spanish speaking countries.
2. Write the names of 10 cities and the country.
3. Go to weather.com and search the weather for the day you are searching
4. Record the weather, temperature, conditions.
5. Visit the website http://www.wbuf.noaa.gov/tempfc.htm to convert your Farenheit temperatures to Celcius
6. Record your information in Spanish
Final Product:
You will design a forecast for 4 of the cities with written description and creative illustration. Your forecast must include the city and country; the temperature in number and words with celcius and farenheit; conditions (such as sunny, cloudy, hot, cold)
You should title your weather forecast as El pronostico meterologico de your name para _date.

Hispanic Heritage Month Webquest and Project.
INTRODUCTION:
The youngest person to ever enlist in the Navy (at the age of 10!). One of only two women ever to have received a Tony, a Grammy, an Emmy and an Oscar. The first woman ever to be appointed as Surgeon General to the United States. One of the greatest women golfers of all times. What do these people have in common? They are all Hispanic Americans. Hispanic Americans have contributed to many areas of American life through science, art, entertainment, literature, sports and many other ways.
TASK:Your task will be to select three famous Hispanics. You may choose from the following categories:Leaders & Activists, Film & Television, Musician & Artists, Scientists & Writers, Athletes. Each person must be from a different category. You will then create a Glogster http://www.glogster.com/ to creatively show the information you have learned. You will present your information to the class by showing your creation and telling us about the famous Hispanics you researched. You will also provide the information you received for each person in a worksheet given to you in class.PROCEDURE:Visit the following sites below to choose your 3 famous Hispanics. Your 9 week score will consist of your storybird that you create in class. The storybird is due Thursday.
